At his re-election campaign launch Sunday, President Irfaan Ali said his next term in office will see significant infrastructure development than ever before as his government will set out to develop an extensive network of roads and highways.“…we are the only party that can clearly identify a plan – a development plan – for every single region and every single community in this country,” President Ali declared.He said these plans are already well underway.“We’re investing in expanding our roads and our highways to connect every single region of this country,” Ali said, detailing a transformative national network that would include directly link Region Seven with Region Three.“This is about connecting communities, connecting people, connecting opportunities,” Ali emphasised, underscoring that these plans are not distant promises.“These are not pie in the sky. These are plans and projects already advanced in the pipeline.
