Minister within the Ministry of Housing and Water Susan Rodrigues on Sunday afternoon took the stage at the launch of the People’s Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C) 2025 elections campaign where she noted that the plans outlined by the opposition political party is reflective of “child’s play.”Rodrigues first took the PPP/C platform ahead of the 2020 elections; five years later, she noted that “no plan is superior to that of the PPP government.”Having served in the housing sector, she said “in the last five years under the capable and competent leadership of the people you see here, we have seen transformation.”This transformation, she said, is evident in the distribution of over 50,000 house and houselots and that too, with over 50% going to young homeowners.“The PPP has the experience and the proven track record to get the job done,” the Minister said, as she pointed out that “the plans that are being pedaled by the opposition will keep people in poverty.“They are playing ‘dolly house’ with your future and we have to stop them…We don’t have time for child’s play, this party is a serious party.”With a mission to ensure people are comfortable, Rodrigues noted that the PPP/C will continue to ensure every Guyanese can have their own home once re-elected on September 1, 2025.“Come September 1, we will be standing on business,” she said.The post Opposition playing ‘dolly house’ with your future and we have to stop them – Susan Rodrigues appeared first on News Room Guyana.
