This accolade has been awarded based upon the number of votes during week NN, with this post having received the most when searching by top submission: https://www.reddit.com/r/analog/comments/1lq9p7n/titan_ii_missile_silo_leica_m6_cinestill_800t/?share_id=uNDeyp_18sunzqLUUc23B&utm_content=2&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_source=share&utm_term=1 How long have you been taking photographs? I started taking photos 10 years ago and have been shooting on film for the last 3. Why do you take photographs? What are you looking to get out of it? Photography is a fun hobby that provides a great creative outlet. What inspired you to take this (group of) photo(s)? My Dad is a big fan of history and aviation so for his 60th birthday we took a roadtrip to the Pima Air Museum and Titan Missile Museum in Arizona. Cinestill 800T seemed like the perfect choice for inside the missile silo to offset the artificial lighting and the halation added to the sifi look I was going for. Do you self develop or get a lab to process your film? These photos were processed by a lab. What first interested you in analog photography? Originally I tried analog photography as a way to restart my love of photography as I was feeling board with digital. I quickly fell in love with the meticulous nature of shooting on film, requiring me to slow down and think before I take a photo. Not knowing if your shots turned out right away adds a level of excitement when you finally get to see the end result. What is your favourite piece of equipment (camera, film, or other) and why? My Voightlander Nokton 35mm f/1.4 has been my go-to lens recently. It’s always on my camera for travel, hiking, and night photos. Do you have a link to more of your work or an online portfolio you would like to share? My instagram tywright95 has a mix of my film and digital work. Do you have a favourite analog photographer or analog photography web site you would like to recommend?
