Travis Kelce might be the greatest tight end ever to walk onto a football field. The Kansas City Chiefs star has been putting on a clinic in a new ‘professor’ role as he prepares for his 13th NFL season.Kelce was quick to apologize for his innacuracyBut while his flawless technique often leaves defenders in the dust, his golf game might need a little work.Travis and his brother Jason took to the course at the Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course, Nevada, on Saturday for the second round of the American Century Championship. There was plenty of security around the course for the A-list celebrity tournamentBut there was nothing they could do to protect a fan who was caught square on the neck by a wild shot from Travis. He laughed off the incident after receiving an autograph and posing for the photo with the Chiefs superstar.“I think so,” the fan said when asked if he was alright, via the Daily Mail.Travis and Jason played alongside Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield and entertained spectators by shotgunning beers with a party atmosphere following them around the course.Earlier in the round, Travis fired a shot into the roof of a grandstand, while Jason almost hit his brother after deflecting off a tree.“You guys signed a waiver right?” Travis asked nearby fans as he played from close to a path.Jason revealed before the round that the Kelces had big plans for their round with plenty of sibling rivalry on display.GettyJason had a great time but struggled on the leaderboard[/caption]GettyKelce couldd retire at the end of the 2025 season[/caption]“Travis and I always have the side bets going for sure,” he told Access Hollywood.“I think right now, the bet today we talked about last night is every three putt, you got a shotgun a beer.“So once you miss that first one, if you’re left with a four or five footer, it’s gonna be a little nerve wracking standing over that thing.“That’s why everybody is here. Everybody’s here to just have a good time. “All these people are here mostly to have a good time. There’s a handful of guys that actually expect to win this thing, but we all know who they are, and that’s great.“We’re all here for the vibes. A lot of people come out here and lend their time to interact. So it’ll be a good day. I love it.”NFL's Greatest......Ranking the top 10......Quarterbacks of all-time – Can anyone better Tom Brady?Wide receivers of all-time – Does Randy Moss or Jerry Rice come out on top?Running backs of all-time – Stacking Jim Brown, Barry Sanders, Walter Payton, Emmitt Smith and moreTight ends of all-time – How does Travis Kelce compare?Aaron Rodgers was also competing in Lake Tahoe over the weekend and allegedly almost hit a kid with his golf club.As Rodgers walked toward his next hole, a young fan called out, ‘You almost hit me, Aaron Rodgers.’“Almost doesn’t count,” Rodgers coldly said.It came after the Pittsburgh Steelers QB gave a brutal response to an ‘autograph hound’ while on the course.
