Fallout: Season 1 on 4K Blu-ray $30 (was $40) See at Amazon Fallout: Season 1 released on 4K Blu-ray a few days ago, but you can already get a nice deal at Amazon. Normally $40, Season 1's 4K release is up for grabs for only $30, which is the same price as the 1080p Blu-ray version. To be clear, this 4K deal is for the standard edition with a plastic case, not the Limited Edition Steelbook. The latter sold out shortly after preorders opened in April and briefly returned around launch last week for $43. And unlike some steelbook editions, it's truly limited edition, according to Amazon, and was only "available while supplies last."Fallout: Season 1 Home Media:4K Blu-ray -- $30 ($40)4K Steelbook -- $43 | Sold outBlu-ray -- $30DVD -- $25With limited-edition Blu-rays, there's always the chance it receives a reprint down the line, but the way Amazon handled preorders for the standard 4K edition makes it seem like supplies could indeed be gone for good. The absence of a price difference between the two suggests the steelbook case was essentially an early preorder bonus. Or maybe it will be restocked tomorrow--no one can really say for sure.In any case, the $10 discount on the standard edition is a nice consolation for those who weren't able to secure the one with fancier packaging and art cards at launch (July 8). The actual on-disc content is the same for each version.Continue Reading at GameSpot
