Good day all, I’m a professional within comms, marketing and advertising. I just wanted to enquire on how certain individuals get employed within the mining sector, specifically within off-shore operations, without previous experience in mining. (I have a feeling some comments will come here talking about connections/knowing the right people and all that) but I’m sure there are certain individuals who get employed regardless of experience and no “connections” and I seek insight from those employed under such specific scenarios. Some people simply posses desirable attributes such as physical fitness and gain experience as they do the job.
