It was all bad then. But it all worked out in the end.”He added: “I have check-ups every few months, and that’s going well. I’m getting fitter and fitter.”Van Gaal’s clean bill of health comes after he previously shared he had gone through a gruelling 25 radiation treatments following his diagnosis in 2022.Speaking at the time, he said: “I had a pretty aggressive form, got irradiated 25 times. “Then you have a lot of management to do in order to go through life.“I did have preferential treatment in the hospital. I was allowed in through the back door when I went to an appointment and was immediately pushed into another room.
