(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});The England international is due to undergo a medical with Arsenal on Friday, having been left out of the squad for Thursday’s Europa Conference League win over Fredrikstad.Eze has been a key part of Palace’s success in recent seasons and scored the winner in last season’s FA Cup final win over Manchester City. That goal secured Palace their maiden major trophy, but Parish is confident the club will move on and unearth new stars.“The King is dead. Long live the King,” Parish said to Channel 5 Sport.“We have to move past it and find other players who can support the team… We will try and use the money and build a bit of a broader and stronger base.”Parish also provided an update on the future of Marc Guehi. The Crystal Palace captain has entered the final 12 months of his deal and is subject of interest from Liverpool. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});Following the win over Fredrikstad, manager Oliver Glasner said Palace ‘cannot lose’ Guehi as the club look to confirm their place in the Conference League’s league phase. Discussing Guehi, Parish said he has not given up hope of retaining the defender. However, he insisted Palace could not afford to lose the player as a free agent in 2026.“If Marc wants to sign a new contract, he can stay! It’s a difficult situation. Everyone has to sell players to comply with the [financial] rules. It’s a situation we’ll have to look at in the next days.”Read – The managers with the most money spent since their last trophySee more – Five of the most memorable transfer hijackingsFollow The Football Faithful on Social Media:Facebook | Instagram | Twitter | YouTube | TikTokThe post ‘The King is dead’ – Palace confirm imminent Eze exit first appeared on The Football Faithful.
