Whatever way you look at it.“Whichever prism you want to look through, somebody determining that because they can’t get their own way – or there is a dispute over what was understood or not understood – can just not turn up to do their job – that’s outrageous. In any walk of life.”He added: “We know that, no doubt in anybody’s mind, that Isak would have told whoever he wanted to tell via his ghastly little agent that he wanted to leave.Jordan labelled Isak’s behaviour ‘poor’ before criticising Brentford’s Yoane Wissa“But saying you want to leave and someone from the club saying ‘yeah, mate, leave on your own terms’ are two different things, which is the ridiculous arguments being advanced.“It’s one-sided tosh and I sincerely hope that he gets his mind concentrated and if he is to be sold to Liverpool, I hope Newcastle get precisely what they want out of it because that’s how it should play out.”Jordan continued: “He’s decided that he wants to do something.“Footballers are not weaklings, to go out and be a professional footballer at an elite level you have to have a certain mindset and a certain set of character about you to be able to perform at the level that you perform at.“A to become a professional footballer and then B to become an elite one, which no doubt this little squirt is.“But the fact of the matter is his behaviour right now is poor.”Wissa’s behaviourIsak is not the only player keen to push through a transfer before the window closes on September 1.Brentford’s Yoane Wissa has been the subject of continued interest from Newcastle this summer.Wissa unfollowed Brentford on social media last week after Newcastle’s latest bid was rejectedGettyHowever, the two clubs have been unable to agree a fee with multiple bids rejected by the Bees.Wissa appeared to respond last week by unfollowing the club on social media despite returning to training.Jordan turned his attention to the DR Congo international, adding: “You’ve got people like Wissa at Brentford. I mean, what the hell is going on? Who do these people think they are?“We’ve got a contract and this nonsense about ‘what I said, what I understood’. “What you understood, you little runt, was what was put on your contract and what your agent understood was what was put in your contract.“You wouldn’t want an understanding of ‘well, here’s your contract we’re not going to write it down, we’re not going to pay for it, we’re not going to ask you to sign it, it’s an understanding mate.’ No, you’d say ‘well, that’s not a contract’.“But now you’re prepared to bank your whole future and your direction of travel on an understanding. It’s utter balderdash.“People won’t call it out and they won’t say it for what it is and they all make excuses for it. Football gives its own orthodoxy about ‘oh, he’s had his head turned,’ so what?”Wissa was pictured in training for Keith Andrews’ side prior to their win over Aston Villa on Saturday. However, he was not included in the matchday squad for the clash. The Bees face Bournemouth in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday before a visit to Sunderland this weekend.Wissa is into the final year of his contract at the Gtech Community Stadium after signing a new deal in 2023.
