A man was killed in Washington early Tuesday, marking the first apparent homicide reported in the city in 12 days, following the federal takeover of the US capital.Officers responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 12:25 a.m. on Tuesday in Southeast Washington, the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said in a statement.First homicide in DC in 12 daysAccording to the MPD, 31-year-old Franck Foute Mohdjiom, of Southeast, was found with a gunshot wound, and despite medics rushing him to the hospital, he died there.
