Manchester United are understood to have failed with a surprise attempt to sign Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Muani.The France international, valued at around €60m by PSG, still favours a permanent transfer to Juventus, sources with links to the agents industry have informed CaughtOffside.Kolo Muani spent time on loan at Juve last season and is keen to return there, though the Serie A giants have so far been unable to reach an agreement with PSG.Sources then alerted CaughtOffside to the fact that this led to Man Utd making contact over a possible deal for Kolo Muani.However, the player was not keen, according to our source, with other well-placed figures backing this up.Manchester United interested in new striker signingRandal Kolo Muani in action for Juventus at the Club World Cup (Photo by Kevin C. However, Kolo Muani has given no indication of being open to a move to Old Trafford.
