Is it possible that the Prime Minister, Rebecca Buttigieg and Byron Camilleri have no time for a registered NGO?”“The regulations introducing roadside testing for cannabis without an impairment assessment will create injustice for over 60,000 cannabis consumers. The presence of drugs in saliva doesn’t mean impairment or that the person is dangerous.”“Cannabis can be detected up to hours after last use and it doesn’t mean the person is dangerous for driving. On the other hand, breathalysers do indicate that a driver is impaired.”“Stop playing with people’s lives. Speak to us as you do with insurance firms and lawyers who have an economic interest in these measures passing.”“We remind you that there are hundreds of court cases across Europe challenging unfair technologies like this one. Safer roads yes, persecution no.”•
