Last week, a new beta version of Android 16-based One UI 8.0 for the Galaxy S25 series was spotted on Samsung’s server. Carrying version S938BXXU5ZYH9, it was expected to arrive as the One UI 8 Beta 6 update for the devices in the lineup, and offer two major changes. First, an updated version of Now Brief that can read summaries aloud. Second, updated Gallery app, which, while watching videos, offers an option to remove unwanted noise from the video using Audio Eraser. However, earlier today, another beta version of One UI 8 for the Galaxy S25 series was spotted on the brand’s server. It carries version S938BXXU5ZYHB. Unless the company comes up with a newer build, this should arrive as One UI 8 Beta 6 for the Galaxy S25 series instead of ZYH9. Well, we now have information that along with the two upgrades the previously spotted beta build was supposed to come with, the new one will offer one more useful feature. Let’s take a look.Galaxy S25 One UI Beta 6 may bring Call CaptionsAccording to Tarun Vats, the newly spotted beta version of One UI 8 for the Galaxy S25 series (ZYHB) will offer Call Captions. This feature, while you are on a call, can show captions of what the other person is saying in real-time. This feature is helpful when you are not able to hear the other person properly and for people with disabilities. It is worth mentioning that if you use this feature, it will inform the other person that the call is being captioned. It is worth mentioning that this feature was present in the previous internal builds of the software for the Galaxy S25 lineup. At the moment, there’s no information about when Samsung will release One UI 8 Beta 6 to the Galaxy S25 series. However, considering that the brand is expected to release the stable version soon, the last beta version (Beta 6) may arrive anytime now.The post Galaxy S25 One UI 8 Beta 6 may bring one more useful feature appeared first on SamMobile.
