Porter was charged Monday with two counts of sexual battery. However, federal prosecutors issued an alternative charge against her for simple battery in case “the evidence fails to establish the charge(s),” federal prosecutors wrote in court documents.She was accused of intentionally touching the victim, a man, without his consent on June 10, 2024, at Robins Air Force Base, according to court records.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementThe punishments for the charges would be determined by state law, according to court records. If Porter is convicted of sexual battery, a felony, she could be imprisoned “not less than one nor more than five years,” according to Georgia law.
