Drake’s NoHo store wrecked as hammer-wielding woman runs wild, claims rapper stole her designs

A bizarre incident took place at Drake’s New York clothing store, October’s Very Own (OVO), when a woman stormed in with a hammer, causing heavy damage. Described as having a model-like face and dressed in stylish clothes, she walked into the high-end NoHo boutique on Tuesday and began trashing the place until cops arrived and arrested her.Woman trashes Drake’s store in NoHoPolice identified the woman as 31-year-old Shauna Stoner from Queens, and they say she caused about $24,000 in damage before being arrested. The attack happened on Tuesday around 4:30 p.m. at the brand’s NoHo flagship store in Manhattan. Eyewitnesses told cops they saw her walk in wearing a denim jacket, leather pants, and carrying a Telfar bag before suddenly losing it. She sprayed paint on pricey clothes, tore down racks, and ripped items off hangers. Then she pulled a hammer from her bag and smashed the store’s windows. At one point, she even pulled out a knife. According to cops, she wasn’t trying to steal anything. After wrecking the place, she casually stormed out and headed north up the Bowery. Staff didn’t confront her and instead called the cops, who arrested her just blocks away on Great Jones Street within minutes. Store’s satff described her as a ‘random person’ with no past connection. Drake launched OVO back in 2011. Since, the brand has expanded to nearly a dozen stores across Canada, the U.S., and the U.K and is known for selling stylish streetwear that runs about $150 for hoodies and $60 for tees. Representative for the rapper declined to comment on the incident.Meanwhile, the trailer for the new documentary, titled Degrassi: Whatever It Takes just dropped. It looks back on Drake’s early days playing Jimmy Brooks on the Canadian teen drama and his rise to stardom. The film, directed by Lisa Rideout, will premiere September 13 and will screen at the Toronto International Film Festival. It reportedly also features  cast members from across the Degrassi franchise including names like  Dayo Ade, Stefan Brogren, Shenae Grimes-Beech, Jake Epstein, Shane Kippel, and Miriam McDonald.
