I think it depends on who I play.“If I’m playing another German, there’s no chance I’m getting anyone on my side. If I’m playing someone from a country that they’re probably not fond of, then I might get a few.“I did an exhibition at the beginning of the year in Germany and I flipped the crowd off afterwards as well because they were booing me. Just (because) I don’t care. I’m not bothered about them at all.talkSPORTWilliams ‘had no idea’ he had been caught swearing behind Humphries’ back[/caption]“I think when I was at talkSPORT last to see (Andy) Goldstein and (Darren) Benty, I literally got my fine then, when I was there and it was £1,000. £1,000 for that finger.“I got £250 for two fingers at Luke Humphries a couple of years ago at the Grand Slam so I don’t see the justice in that but it’s fine.”Williams on his DRA finesAs for whether he has ever been fined without knowing what he had done, his altercation with Humphries immediately came to mind.Williams added: “So those double fingers behind Luke Humphries at the Grand Slam, it was just a complete accident, I didn’t even think about it. It was just like a gesture, a joke kind of thing.“I didn’t even think about it and then in the taxi on the way home, I had a phone call like, ‘What have you done?’ I was like, ‘I have no idea’.“Then there’s videos on YouTube going everywhere with me chucking the old fingers up and I was like ‘Oh, that’s not great.’ £250 for that. Then I got £250 for saying the F-word on Sky Sports.”GettyThe DRA has fined Williams a total of £1,500 for three separate incidents[/caption]Williams infamously gave a foul-mouthed post-match interview after beating Ryan Joyce at the 2023 PDC World Darts Championship. As a result, he has been forced to pay out £1,500 in fines across his three charges from the DRA for swearing. It is only his punishment for putting his fingers up to the former world champion which the 2024 Alexandra Palace semi-finalist was caught out by.He did not come out on top in that clash with Humphries at the Grand Slam, though.Instead, Cool Hand secured a 5-2 victory on his way to topping their group before reaching the semi-finals.Williams, meanwhile, was knocked out in the group stage despite beating Ryan Searle.
