In the pre-quarterfinals, Aarav overcame Gujarat’s Mauviya Thakor 5-3.Son of national-level snooker and billiards player Sachin Sancheti, Aarav has already carved a space for himself in cue sports. He is ranked No. 1 in India’s sub-junior snooker and billiards category and also holds the top state ranking in Maharashtra.Training at Amanora Fern Club under coach Suri Suryanarayanan Nagarajan, Aarav balances his sporting career with academics as a Class 10 student under NIOS.
