(Credit: X/@MinSudhangshu)The Tripura Fisheries Department Saturday distributed cash compensation to fish farmers who suffered losses during the floods last year.Speaking at an event in Agartala, Fisheries Minister Sudhangshu Das said the government was committed to making Tripura self-reliant in fish production and doubling the income of fish farmers.The cheques distributed ranged from Rs 6,800 to Rs 10,000.
