Aviation regulator DGCA has granted IndiGo a six-month extension for damp leasing two Boeing 777 aircraft from Turkish Airlines, subject to certain conditions. This decision follows a previous three-month extension granted in May, which the DGCA had stated would be the final one. IndiGo currently uses these leased planes to operate direct flights between Delhi/Mumbai and Istanbul.
