From Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Florida to Disneyland Park in California, there’s something being worked on or changed.Perhaps the biggest change coming to the Disney theme parks is Magic Kingdom’s new Piston Peak area. Inspired by Pixar’s Cars franchise, Piston Peak will offer guests a number of new attractions and experiences. The new location will be found in Frontierland, replacing Magic Kingdom’s Tom Sawyer Island and Liberty Square Riverboat attractions. However, change is spreading worldwide, too, with Disneyland Paris in the middle of its largest transformation yet. The latest change has seen a new security checkpoint open at Disney Village, the resort’s dining and shopping center. This update was confirmed by DLP Works, which shared the news on Twitter.[Live] Opening of the new security checkpoint at #DisneyVillageThe permanent structure housing the security screening in front of Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel is now open to guests.Designed in the same architectural style as other entry sequences, it…[Live] Opening of the new security checkpoint at #DisneyVillage The permanent structure housing the security screening in front of Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel is now open to guests. As mentioned, this is far from the only big change happening at Disneyland Paris.Work is underway on the resort’s upcoming World of Frozen, an immersive new land inspired by Disney’s beloved animated Frozen franchise. World of Frozen will be located at Walt Disney Studios Park. However, the park will go by a different name when all is said and done: Disney Adventure World. When Disneyland Paris opened in 1992, the resort only featured one theme park: Disneyland Park. Meant to evoke the same stylings seen at Disney’s original Southern California theme park, Disneyland Paris offers visitors a quintessential Disney experience, albeit with slightly less to do.Sure, the park features perhaps Disney’s best princess castle of them all, and a number of rides to boot, but overall, guests have always felt Disneyland Paris had less to offer than its American or even international counterparts.Classics like “it’s a small world” and Peter Pan’s Flight can still be found here,The resort got a big upgrade in 2002 when its second theme park, Walt Disney Studios, opened. Walt Disney Studios was designed to mirror the original design of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, featuring a number of movie-related attractions and sound stages.Over the years, this core theme has deteriorated, just like in Florida, as Disney moves away from Hollywood theming and shifts focus to more IP-driven attractions. What do you think about Disneyland Paris?
