Galaxy S25 FE’s three big upgrades confirmed in new leak

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S25 FE in the next few weeks, and its images and features were leaked over the past few months. Now, more images of the upcoming phone have leaked, confirming three big upgrades the phone is bringing compared to the Galaxy S24 FE.Galaxy S25 FE brings upgraded selfie camera, battery, and chargingDutch publication NieuweMobiel.nl recently spotted the Galaxy S25 FE's webpage on Portuguese retailer MediaMarkt. It revealed marketing images from Samsung for the company's upcoming Fan Edition phone. According to those images, the Galaxy S25 FE looks largely like its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 FE. However, there are three major upgrades.Selfie camera: 12MP (up from 10MP on the Galaxy S24 FE)Battery capacity: 4,900mAh (up from 4,700mAh on the Galaxy S24 FE)Wired battery charging speed: 45W (up from 25W on the Galaxy S24 FE) The Galaxy S25 FE's selfie camera matches the rest of the phones in the Galaxy S25 series. On the rear, it has a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and an 8MP telephoto camera with OIS and 3x optical zoom, and this is identical to the Galaxy S24 FE's rear camera setup. The Galaxy S25 FE has AI ProVisual Engine, which is an upgrade over its predecessor's ProVisual Engine, and likely offers better image and video processing. Samsung has equipped the Galaxy S25 FE with the Exynos 2400 processor, which is slightly faster than the Galaxy S24 FE's Exynos 2400e chip. The upcoming device continues to offer 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It could come in a 256GB variant as well.The phone will run Android 15 and One UI 7.0 out of the box, and will likely come with a promise of seven major Android OS updates and receive security patches for up to seven years. Some of its software features include Gemini Live, Audio Eraser, and Generative AI-powered image editing. The phone's 6.7-inch Full HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2x screen has up to 120Hz variable refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint reader. It is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+. An Armor Aluminum frame and an IP68-rated design keeps the phone protected. It will be available in four colors: Black, Dark Blue, Light Blue, and White.The phone measures 76.6×161.3×7.4mm and weighs 190g, which makes it a whopping 20g lighter than its predecessor despite having a bigger battery. Images also reveal that Samsung won't ship a charger in the box, and the only things in the box include the Galaxy S25 FE, a USB Type-C to Type-C cable, and a SIM ejector pin.The retailer's website quotes a price of €789.99 for the Galaxy S25 FE.
