I am just glad blood is tested for HIV now. I was close to someone who died of AIDS because of a blood transfusion. It was terrifying back before all blood was tested. It wasn’t a long period of time where it wasn’t tested but it was a scary time. Then the whole mad cow thing. Not as scary but still
