On Saturday, the Guyana Amazon Warriors’ captain’s spin sorcery floored the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons as he broke multiple T20 records in a massive 84-run win for his side.Defending a whopping 211-run total of his side, Tahir weaved magic starting with his first delivery outside the Powerplay as he dismissed Shakib Al Hasan stumped. The former South Africa leggie and Warriors skipper then went on a tear as he trapped his counterpart Imad Wasim for a four-ball duck in the same over before trapping Shamar Springer lbw in his next. Tahir returned to wipe out the tail, castling the No. 9 and 10 batters to claim a special feat in T20 cricket.The 46-year-old Tahir became the oldest man to record a T20 five-wicket haul as captain and is the first man to achieve the feat in his forties. Tahir eclipsed the record feat previously held by Malawi captain Moazzam Ali Baig with his five-for against Cameroon in September 2004.
