Of all the surveyed Indian chief information security officers (CISOs), over 74% admitted that their organisations were unprepared to respond to such attacks, according to Proofpoint’s 2025 Voice of the CISO report reviewed by ET. Most of the firms in the country have already experienced a material data loss in 2024. Top concerns for Indian firms are supply chain attacks, email fraud, insider threats, and ransomware, the report said.
