On the “It’s Giving” podcast, Snoop Dogg recounted taking his grandchildren to see Pixar’s 2022 film “Lightyear,” where he was caught off guard by a scene featuring a lesbian couple, Alisha Hawthorne and her wife Kiko, who have a child together. He described his grandson asking, “Papa Snoop? How she have a baby with a woman? She’s a woman!” during the movie, leaving him unsure how to respond. Snoop expressed discomfort, stating, “Oh sh*t, I didn’t come in for this sh*t. I just came to watch the goddamn movie,” and questioned the inclusion of such themes for young audiences. He further explained that the experience “threw me for a loop,” adding, “These are kids. We have to show that at this age? They’re going to ask questions.
