Maltese actor, Thomas Camilleri, called out the gravelling of Ta’ Qali’s family park that is in the place of a green space.Camilleri took to Facebook to express his frustration saying that while he understands that in summer, the area usually hosts music festivals, he expects that the park would become a green space once again between autumn and spring.“Thank goodness for Project Green which opens pocket gardens and cuts ribbons for the cameras, while completely ignoring the park that’s truly unique in Malta,” wrote Camilleri in an ironic tone. The actor went on to question the point of the €16 million spent on Ta’ Qali’s concert area when it is not being used for music festivals. “The actual park next to it has been ruined to cater for concerts.”What do you make of his comments?•
