A military-civil fusion meeting was organised at the Maratha Light Infantry Regimental Centre (MLIRC) in Belagavi on Monday.MLIRC Commandant Brigadier Joydip Mukherjee chaired the meeting.Senior representatives from Airmen Training School, NDRF, Indian Reserve Battalion Karnataka, CRPF COBRA and Counter Insurgency Jungle Warfare School ITBP attended.They discussed various issues like joint training, sharing of infrastructure and best practices to enhancing collective response to internal security and disaster management, fostering coordination and preparedness among all agencies, said a release.Published - August 26, 2025 06:23 pm IST
