Tottenham Hotspur have not done a great job signing new players and getting rid of unused squad players is also proving to be a problem. With each passing day, the end of the summer transfer window looms, yet Tottenham Hotspur do not appear to be acting with much urgency. The Tottenham first-team squad has enough quality to have delivered for Thomas Frank up to this point, but a couple more signings seem necessary if Spurs are to keep up this positive form. However, bringing new players to the club only decreases the opportunities some fringe players could be given. Even without any further signings, there are players who may never get another game and need to be offloaded before the end of the month. Here are five players who Tottenham must move on as soon as possible, whether that is on a season-long loan move or a permanent sale.Credit: Tottenham HotspurBryan Gil has never established himself at TottenhamTottenham supporters were eager to see Timo Werner sent back to RB Leipzig after his poor second loan spell, and the club eventually made the correct decision. However, even Werner was a better left winger for Spurs than Bryan Gil.Three loan spells in Spain and there have been no signs that Gil will come good. He is now 24 years old and only has two years remaining on his contract. If Tottenham are to get a deal worth anywhere near what they paid for Gil, a sale needs to happen now. Although if truth be told, no club is likely to pay good money for him.Dane Scarlett will only get game time with another loan moveWill Lankshear looks to have moved ahead of Dane Scarlett in the Tottenham pecking order. Indeed, while Lankshear scored against Reading in pre-season, Scarlett was only afforded 13 minutes in just one friendly fixture.Considering Lankshear joined Oxford United on loan earlier in the month, it is hard to see what chance Scarlett has of ever making the Tottenham first-team. He could be handed a start in the Carabao Cup depending on their draw, but he would be nothing more than a backup in case of injuries.Spurs already have Richarlison and Dominic Solanke, while Mathys Tel could play as a striker if required. Therefore, another loan move to the Championship could be good for Scarlett, before a decision is made on his future next summer.Yves Bissouma’s Tottenham fate already looks to have been sealedDisciplinary action has been followed by an injury, and surely that will conclude the Spurs career of Yves Bissouma. Tottenham already appear to have found his replacement in Palhinha and the midfield is the area of the team with the most depth. There is already a much younger defensive midfield option in Archie Gray, while Rodrigo Bentancur, Lucas Bergvall and Pape Matar Sarr have all made good starts to the season. The only reason to keep Bissouma is if he is going to be offered a new contract, but with the current circumstances considered, getting some money for him seems like the best call.Credit: Tom Cusden / @cusdenManor Solomon also needs to be moved on by Tottenham It would be the most Tottenham move ever to lose out on Savinho and keep Manor Solomon, a player who might then be described as like a new signing. However, the former Fulham loanee is too injury-prone and has not made an appearance for the club in more than a year.Solomon did have a positive loan spell at Leeds United last season, but there is a big difference between the Championship and the Premier League. The sensible option for Spurs is to sign a new left winger, use Tel as a young backup option and cash in on Solomon. Of course, there is still a possibility that Solomon comes good and has a shocking break into the first-team. However, he has already missed the entirety of pre-season and would have a better chance of making regular starts at a team in the bottom half of the Premier League table.Luka Vuskovic must be given match time away from SpursTottenham have already signed one new centre-back this season and if the latest rumours are to be believed, Spurs want to sign Piero Hincapie. If that move goes through, it seems highly unlikely that Vuskovic will receive many first-team opportunities this season. It is a shame, as many supporters were excited to see the defender in action. He played well when given the opportunity in pre-season, showing how he is capable not just of defending, but causing problems in front of goal. However, he is yet to get a real taste of English football and a loan move in the Championship, or to another team in the top flight, would be a fantastic experience for Vuskovic to understand what it will take to make it as a Tottenham player. He is only 18 and will have plenty of time further down the line to impress at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.READ MORE – Tottenham fans left fuming as Arsenal look to hijack yet another big money transfer The post Five Tottenham players who must be shown the door before the transfer window closes - Opinion appeared first on Spurs Web.
