WWE superstar Seth Rollins joins NFL Network in major morning show shake-up to the delight of Bears fans

Wait 5 sec.

Seth Rollins will guest host this season on NFL Network’s Good Morning Football and its companion show, GMFB: Overtime. The WWE superstar is no stranger to the GMFB desk, as he has been a recurring guest over the years and even hosted the morning show a handful of times last season. As the 2025 season begins, Rollins will join the core cast of Jamie Erdahl, Kyle Brandt, Manti Te’o, and Sherree Burruss.Rollins is a well-known Chicago Bears fan, with the team entering a pivotal season led by franchise quarterback Caleb Williams in Year 2 and new head coach Ben Johnson taking the reins in the Windy City. There is little doubt that Rollins will consistently keep the spotlight and conversation on his beloved Bears as the season nears.Look no further than the NFL Draft in Green Bay earlier this year, when Rollins announced Chicago’s second-round pick in front of a hostile Packers home crowd. In typical Rollins fashion, he worked the crowd perfectly, embracing the heel role that made him so popular in the wrestling world.“I know y’all mad because championship gold looks good on the blue and orange,” Rollins said.“But in all seriousness Green Bay, we are in the shadow of Lambeau Field and I love Lambeau Field because the King of the North, the best quarterback in the NFC north, Caleb Williams is undefeated at Lambeau Field.”Rollins pointed out that Williams is 1-0 at Lambeau Field, after the Bears beat the Packers 24-22 in last season’s finale on a walk-off 51-yard field goal. He wouldn’t let the crowd filled with cheeseheads forget it.The current WWE World Heavyweight Champion is bringing his charisma and big-time personality from the ring and to the desk.It was only a few weeks back, that Rollins cut what felt like a pro-Bears promo on Good Morning Football, talking about how excited he was for Johnson’s first year in Chicago.Rollins is the current WWE World Heavyweight ChampionRollins is no stranger to the NFL spotlightGettyHe even may have let out a sneaky bold prediction.“I was locked in on what he was saying, man,” Rollins said. “He overloaded Caleb Williams on purpose, because he wants to see what he’s made of, and that’s the kind of coach I need.“I want somebody who’s going to push my young lion. I want somebody who’s going to make him the best version of himself.“Because I tell you, the best version of Caleb Williams can lead the Chicago Bears, to the North championship and to the Super Bowl.“They got the people in the place. It’s all hinging on this kid. I cannot wait to see what it looks like in Soldier (Field) against Buffalo this weekend. I am hyped.“Just seeing last week against the Dolphins, seeing the backups run the Ben Johnson offense and see the speed and the pace coming out of the huddle with 20 seconds left on the play clock.NFL's Greatest......Ranking the top 10......Quarterbacks of all-time – Can anyone better Tom Brady?Wide receivers of all-time – Does Randy Moss or Jerry Rice come out on top?Running backs of all-time – Stacking Jim Brown, Barry Sanders, Walter Payton, Emmitt Smith and moreTight ends of all-time – How does Travis Kelce compare?“Are you kidding? In Chicago? Oh my goodness. I can’t wait to see Caleb operate this offense, man. I want to see efficiency. I want to see him smooth. I want to see him on time. Let’s go.”Rollins has full confidence in Johnson and Williams, that much is clear, but whether they deliver is another story. What’s certain is that Rollins himself will be must-see TV.Good Morning Football airs weekdays at 8 a.m. ET on NFL Network, with a replay at 10 a.m. ET. Its companion show, Good Morning Football: Overtime, streams at 10 a.m. ET on The Roku Channel and is syndicated nationwide.
