(Photo: Parmeet Sethi/Instagram)After Parmeet Sethi spoke about facing a difficult time in his marriage with Archana Puran Singh, the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai actor has also opened up about the troubled times in their relationship. Archana revealed how she had ego clashes with her husband but shared that they resolved their differences after taking up meditation.Speaking on her son Aaryamann Sethi’s vlog, she said, “Parmeet and I were going through a very difficult phase in our marriage. We made mistakes in understanding each other, and sometimes ego gets in the way. When both people in a marriage become weak, then that marriage struggles.”She added, “You (Aaryamann) were young at that time, but even during that time, I knew that my children would always have their father, and I knew that nobody could be a better father than him. Somebody who has loved you guys more than me is your father, and I thought to myself, I cannot let this marriage fail.”Archana spoke about joining the Art of Living Foundation and explained how meditation helped her navigate through the troubles in her marriage. Later, she also encouraged Parmeet to take up meditation. During the conversation, Archana revealed that it was through meditation that she revisited the trauma of her mother leaving her for 10 days when she was 10 months old. She also shared that during the same meditation session, Parmeet learnt to deal with his sister’s untimely death. It was during that moment when we realised that we love each other so much like soulmates, but due to stupidity, we are fighting.”She added, “Meditation makes you look at things differently, and the things that irritate you about the other person won’t irritate you after practicing it. We started appreciating each other’s real nature. We are far from the perfect couple.
