Through a Reddit connection, the club has made contact with the mod team for r/Gunners and r/ArsenalWFC about revisiting the possibility of contributing to the community with the goal of fan participation and engagement in club content. As many know, this relationship with the club was halted when the Super League was being floated and agreed to by several clubs. Since some time has passed, we asked the Reddit intermediary to give us an idea of what the club would ideally like to contribute to the subreddit to make sure the content is something fans would be interested in. Their proposed contributions include: Monthly AMAs with club personnel such as players/characters from the club (Legends/Ambassadors), club historians, kitman, head chef, etc. Video content including behind the scenes content from game-day and training, player reveals, fan interactions, community work, and day in the life style content, content from outside the grounds Focus will be on genuine fan engagement rather than only promotional material or infographics (Though some may feature in appropriate situations) Participation from the club to ask for fan contributions for various projects such as when fans visit the stadium grounds, nice moments, etc. Roughly 5-6 posts per week is what is currently planned As we have said many times, this subreddit is not and will never be a mouthpiece for the club. We are all fans first and foremost and we would not have direct participation from the club without first making sure the community is okay with it. We’re asking for you as fans to vote on whether you’d welcome this participation from the club or not. Please visit the survey link here: SURVEY LINK Because the season has already started, we want to collect responses as efficiently as possible and will leave the survey open until Saturday, August 30th end of day BST. We welcome any questions or feedback in the comments. Thank you as always for your contributions to our community. submitted by /u/bmoviescreamqueen [link] [comments]
