Shopping for a new smartphone can be an intensely personal experience, and with dozens of fantastic phones to choose from across the landscape, not everyone’s going to have the same feelings about them all. While we absolutely prioritize things like performance, features, and pricing when evaluating which phone we want to buy next, we don’t talk nearly as much about another still-very-important consideration: how the phone feels in your hand. Even if you likely end up protecting your new purchase with a case, the phone itself still defines the basic shape we’re working with, and while that’s still rectangles, rectangles, rectangles, we get a fair amount of variation in what phones do with their corners.
