The Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train project is making significant progress, particularly in Gujarat, where stations are nearing completion. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced that the inaugural bullet train service is imminent. This high-speed rail will drastically reduce travel time between Mumbai and Ahmedabad to approximately two hours and seven minutes.
