Their addition to the lineup will be part of their From World Zero world tour, where the band have been showcasing their first album since 2017, since the untimely death of lead singer Chester Bennington, and their last album, One More Light.The band released a newsletter to announce their concert, and LP co-founder Mike Shinoda wrote, “India has been somewhere we’ve wanted to play for a long time. Our fans there are incredibly passionate, and we can’t wait to finally bring our live show to them.” The tickets for the music festival went live on BookMyShow at 11 am on August 26 for RuPay credit card holders and at 12 pm on August 28. Mike has been a part of all performances in the tour so far. The band is expected to perform some of their greatest hits, such as ‘Castle of Glass’, ‘Numb’, ‘In The End’, and ‘What I’ve Done’, just to name a few. Their new album, ‘From World Zero’, is a fresh start for the band, and the project has received fairly positive reviews, proving that the band is able to carry Chester’s legacy while not being bogged down by it.This announcement obviously comes after Bank of Baroda accidentally leaked information about the band’s India concert. The bank sent out a message to all of its members to “get ready” for Linkin Park’s upcoming performance, and this happened before any sort of confirmation from the band, the music festival, or BookMyShow.
