IntroductionSamsung is preparing to refresh its flagship tablet lineup with the Galaxy Tab S11 series. After skipping the base variant in the Tab S10 family, this time Samsung is expected to launch a standard Galaxy Tab S11 and a Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, while skipping the “Plus” model. Here’s everything we expect from Samsung’s upcoming flagship tablets.Design and display The Galaxy Tab S11 lineup is expected to stick to Samsung’s premium design language, offering sleek metal builds, slim bezels, and S Pen support. Both models are also likely to feature IP68 certification for dust and water resistance, which is still something of a rarity in the tablet market. In terms of displays, the standard Galaxy Tab S11 is expected to feature an 11-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2560 by 1600 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, meanwhile, is said to come with a massive 14.6-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen at 2960 by 1848 pixels. As with previous generations, the Ultra will deliver the most immersive viewing experience, while the smaller model will offer a premium viewing experience in a more portable size.Specifications Under the hood, both the Galaxy Tab S11 and Tab S11 Ultra are rumored to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset. The Dimensity 9400+ is the sequel to the Dimensity 9300+ that powered the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra. Both tablets are expected to ship with either 12GB or 16GB of RAM, paired with 256GB of internal storage. For those who need even more storage space, a microSD card slot will provide further expandability. The Galaxy Tab S11 is expected to pack an 8,400mAh cell, while the Tab S11 Ultra may carry a much larger 11,600mAh unit. Both tablets are said to support up to 45W fast charging. In terms of cameras, the standard Tab S11 will likely feature a single 13MP rear camera and a single 12MP front camera. The Tab S11 Ultra, on the other hand, is expected to include dual cameras on the back while possibly stepping down to just one front-facing sensor. That would be a downgrade from the Tab S10 Ultra, which had dual camera setups on both sides.Software and featuresWhile early benchmark listings showed the Galaxy Tab S11 series running Android 15 with One UI 7, the final retail units are most likely to ship with Android 16 and One UI 8 out of the box. This would align them with the Galaxy S25 FE, which will launch alongside the new tablets with the same software. On top of the base Android OS, Samsung will bring its tablet-focused One UI optimizations, including enhanced multitasking, DeX Mode, and S Pen functionality. As far as updates are concerned, the Tab S11 lineup should be supported for seven years.Availability and priceThe Galaxy Tab S11 series is expected to be introduced at Samsung’s online launch event on September 4, 2025, just a day before the IFA trade show kicks off in Berlin. It should go on sale sometime in September. Pricing details remain unknown for now, but buyers should expect to pay a premium, particularly for the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. The post Samsung Galaxy Tab S11: Everything you need to know appeared first on SamMobile.
