A Facebook post has gone viral after offering an unusual opportunity for animal lovers looking for a unique job in Malta.Julia Lundberg recently took to the Work Away and Go to Europe Facebook groups to share a call for one lucky person to move onto her 25-metre yacht in Birgu and care for her two dogs, Lish and Olivia.The arrangement would begin as soon as possible and run until mid-October. The chosen applicant’s main duties include walking the dogs in the mornings and afternoons, and keeping the shared living spaces tidy.In return, the successful candidate will get to enjoy a private cabin complete with its own bathroom aboard the marina-based yacht.The boat will remain docked while undergoing maintenance, and Lundberg herself will be away working in Italy during this time. However, the caretaker won’t be completely alone, they’ll share the yacht with her boyfriend, a software developer.It’s not every day you get to live on a luxury yacht in one of Malta’s most picturesque harbours, especially with two furry companions to keep you company.Would you go for this pet sitting job?•
