Carabao Cup draw: Start time and how to follow The Carabao Cup third round draw will take place on Wednesday, August 27. There will be a pre-match draw and a post-match draw, with the first scheduled to take place at around 7:25pm. The nine clubs joining the draw are teams competing in Europe, so the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League.Crystal Palace are included in a separate bowl to the other teams joining the competition as the Conference League starts later in October.First draw The pre-match draw will determine whether each of the eight Champions League and Europa League teams play at home or away.Second drawThe draw after the match then includes both bowls, with the first eight ties alternating between a club from Bowl 1 and Bowl 2.
