AFC Bournemouth welcomed back the services of American midfielder Tyler Adams on Saturday. Adams started and played 66 minutes in Bournemouth’s goal-less draw with West Ham United in Premier League play. It marked Adams’ first appearance of 2026 since suffering an MCL injury on December 15 at Manchester United. The 27-year-old delivered a solid showing in midfield, completing 91% of his passes, winning three duels, and making five clearances. Adams also completed two tackles and made five defensive recoveries. It marked Adams’ 18th appearance of the season across all competitions. Both Mads Hermansen and Djordje Petrovic were up to the task in the match, combining for eight saves in the draw. Bournemouth sit in eighth place after the result while West Ham are in 18th, two points from safety. Up next for Adams and Bournemouth is a home date with Sunderland on February 28. Adams will have four opportunities to add to his minute total before the U.S. men’s national team reconvenes for March friendlies against Portugal and Belgium in Atlanta.
