Technical incidents on Air India flights, including engine oil and fuel leaks, rose to their highest rate in at least 14 months in January, according to a company document, highlighting strain on its ongoing revamp. The airline recorded 1.09 incidents per 1,000 flights, up sharply from 0.26 in December 2024, with 23 incidents reported across more than 17,500 flights, most of which were formally investigated.
