Disneyland Resort’s Autopia attraction closed over the weekend after the second vehicle derailment in less than a year. Disney Park guests were evacuated from the 70-year-old ride and removed from the queue as cast members worked to relocate the crashed car.Last Autopia DerailmentCredit: Dolan Halbrook, FlickrPreviously, the most recent derailment on Autopia was in June of 2025. At the time, it had been years since the last crash on the ride. X (formerly known as Twitter) user @laughingplace captured several photos of the incident, showing a red car on its side in a grassy area to the side of the race track:First time I’ve actually seen a car derailed on Autopia.
