The Ministry of Labour and Employment will refund Rs 30.52 crore from over 7.11 lakh inactive EPFO accounts, each with a balance up to Rs 1,000. These funds will be credited to Aadhaar-seeded accounts or to nominees/legal heirs if the account holder has passed away.
