Kolkata weather: Kolkata and its adjoining areas are likely to receive light rain with thunderstorms on Tuesday, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). Howrah, Hooghly, Nadia, North and South 24 Parganas, Purba and Paschim Midnapore and Jhargram will also see rainfall today. In north Bengal, light to moderate rain is likely in Darjeeling, Kalimpong and Jalpaiguri on Monday and Tuesday.
