Samsung has launched a new Bespoke AI series water purifier that not only delivers exceptionally pure water but also dispenses ice cubes. It features AI-powered capabilities, built-in Bixby, and a touchscreen display. It may be one of the most advanced water purifiers and ice makers currently available on the market.Bespoke AI Ice Purifier features built-in AI, Bixby, touchscreen display, and ice makerThe Bespoke AI Ice Purifier uses a four-stage filtration system certified by NSF International, a water and drinking water testing organization accredited by the American National Standards Institute. The system can filter out particles that are up to 1,000 times smaller than the thickness of a human hair. It removes harmful bacteria, microplastics, and heavy metals such as chromium, lead, and mercury. In addition to removing 82 types of harmful substances from water, Samsung’s Bespoke AI Ice Purifier can produce up to 1,000 ice cubes per day, equivalent to 8kg of ice. It can also store and dispense up to 100 ice cubes at a time. The appliance uses an AI-assisted electrolysis function to clean the water pipe, ice box, and ice tray. The water pipe is sterilized every three days, while the ice box and ice tray are cleaned every 30 days. The ice dispensing unit also features UV sterilization. Together, these processes help keep both water and ice free from E. coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Listeria monocytogenes, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Staphylococcus aureus.AI learns each family member's preferences and identifies their voiceThe onboard AI learns user behavior and automatically cleans the purifier when it is not in use. The water pipe is made of stainless steel to reduce the risk of contamination and corrosion. The system also automatically drains water every four hours to prevent microbial growth. With built-in Bixby voice recognition, users can operate the purifier using voice commands. It recognizes individual voices and dispenses water based on each user’s preferred volume and temperature. Through the SmartThings app, users can adjust the water flow from 50ml to 1,000ml in 10ml increments. Water temperature can be set up to 90 degrees in 5-degree increments. Users can save customized water settings for up to 20 frequently used items, including coffee brewing and 38 types of ramen recipes. The Bespoke AI Ice Purifier features a front-facing touchscreen display. In addition to dispensing ice and water and managing settings, it can display weather information and function as a timer. The built-in smart lighting system allows users to dispense water or ice at night without disturbing others.Pricing and availabilityThe Bespoke AI Ice Purifier is priced at KRW 2.39 million, approximately $1,656, in South Korea. It is available in three colors: Satin Beige, Satin Grey, and Soapstone Charcoal.
