Despite coming close in recent years, the Buffalo Bills have been unable to get over the hump and win the Big Game.Perhaps they’ll bring in a player with a Super Bowl ring to his name to help them get there.The Bills were recently named the best potential landing spot for free agent linebacker Nakobe Dean by Mason Cameron of Pro Football Focus.Dean played the first four years of his career with the Philadelphia Eagles and he was a key cog on defense for Philadelphia's Super Bowl champion team in 2024, though he was injured for much of the playoff run. He's a versatile linebacker capable of applying pressuring on opposing quarterbacks and stopping the run. He can also be effective in pass defense. As such, he would make a nice addition in Buffalo. "After battling through a patellar tendon injury late in 2024 that cut short a breakout season, Dean returned to the field and continued to perform at a high level. The addition would give the Bills a plus run defender they’re in desperate need of, evidenced by Dean’s 96th-percentile run-stop percentage (10.3%) over the past two seasons," Cameron wrote."Dean would give new defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard a chess piece to amplify his aggressive, blitz-heavy scheme after posting the second-highest PFF pass-rush grade among linebackers since 2024."
