Main point of micro-influencers is that they have quite a small following (>10k usually), but they have "quality" followers. Could be celebs who in turn will spread goodwill either in their circle or their fans, could be a niche group but will consume anything the influencer endorses. Main point is "quality", and it was usually up to the brands to choose which type to go with. Sad that nowadays no good influencers think they're hot shit, and just because they don't have any other job, their 3-5k social media can be called a "micro-influencer". But truth of the matter is their daily post don't even get 5 comments or over 100 likes, and when they do get endorsements, literally nobody from their followers bothered to buy the brand.
