A video that has been making the rounds online shows a group of about five men violently attacking a man with a backpack and stealing his bag.One of the thugs holding a panga, when confronted by a supposed onlooker, tries to slice him before making away with the bag.According to a police statement released on Sunday morning, the incident happened at Gwanda Shopping Mall near the Kisenyi Taxi Park.Police Spokesperson ACP Kituuma Rusoke revealed that three suspects linked to the incident have been arrested to help with the investigations.Kampala Insecurity: Police Acknowledge Rising Crime, Vow To Tackle ItHe further notes that 3 motorcycles were used during the theft and have been impounded.
