Whether you are a “completionist” and plan on riding every single attraction at the park, or simply want to try out the park’s selection of cuisine, allocating enough time during your trip can prove easier said than done.Early closures certainly don’t help, with Disneyland Paris announcing its Walt Disney Studios theme park will close earlier. On October 9, 2025, half of Walt Disney Studios will close early. The closures start with Ratatouille: The Adventure, which will close at 11 a.m. Everything to the right of the attraction will close as the day continues, with Animation Boutique set to shut down at 6 p.m.There is currently no explanation as to why half the park is closing so early. It’s possible this has something to do with a private event, a somewhat common occurrence for Disney’s theme parks. Each year, at least one of Disney World’s four Florida theme parks is rented out for an event, with Magic Kingdom reportedly picked this year for the Gartner IT Symposium/Xpo conference.Credit: Lee (myfrozenlife), FlickrRelated: REPORT: Historic Change Coming to Disneyland ResortGuests have to put up with a lot when it comes to planning and actually embarking on a trip to Disney’s theme parks. From Disneyland in Anaheim, California, to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, there’s a lot of I’s to dot and T’s to cross.Perhaps the most important thing guests should know before their trip begins is the actual operating hours of the parks themselves. While Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, and EPCOT all operate on a somewhat steady rotation, park hours are always changing and being updated. The last thing guests want to do is plan on visiting EPCOT only to discover that the ride, attraction, or theme park itself is closed early that day.Staying up to date with park calendars is an integral part of planning a Disney vacation, especially now, when it seems like dozens of rides, attractions, and other experiences are set to close or are already offline. In 2026, Magic Kingdom bid a temporary farewell to classic attractions Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Both these rides are set to receive significant upgrades during their respective refurbishments, neither of which is expected to reopen until 2026.Next year will be just as big, as Disney World plans on closing DinoLand U.S.A. at its Animal Kingdom. The prehistoric-themed area has been a staple of the park since it opened, though many agree it’s time for a refresh. DinoLand, along with the land’s big “E-ticket” thrill ride DINOSAUR, will close on February 2, 2026 to make way for a bold new vision for this section of Animal Kingdom.Does this news affect your travel plans?
