Indian-American Amit Kshatriya has been appointed NASA’s new exploration-focused associate administrator, becoming the agency’s top civil servant. A 20-year NASA veteran, Kshatriya will oversee Moon-to-Mars missions, including Artemis. Known for leadership in space operations, he will also guide NASA centres and partnerships with the growing US commercial space sector.
