Wait 5 sec.

Literally just had a friend crash with me who had been evicted who I worried I would have to kick out with help. Told her my lease says no guests past 14 days. She said she had several friends offering to let her stay so I told her I had family coming sometime in September in case it interfered with my "turn to host her" not having officially offered any dates or any time frame or anything. She texted me one night basically asking if she could bring her cart full of stuff one night (a day before her eviction). I told her no as it was three days away and I had plans. Offered her the next day which would have her leaving this past Tuesday the 2nd. About a week after she got here she asked when in September my family was coming and I said I didn't know and asked why. She said she needed to know how long she could stay and wanted to know to make plans when they would be arriving. I told her it didn't matter as legally she was out on the 2nd. Cue shocked Pikachu face and incredulousness. I told her she knew it coming in and I thought she had several friends offering to put her up. She then spent a week scrambling to find a new friend to stay with while dropping awkward hints that made me think she wanted to try living here permanently. I'm not offering anyone else my spare room anytime soon ETA: as a bonus she "borrowed" my nice work shoes without permission to wear to her new food service job
