An earthquake of magnitude 4.7 occurred only 21 minutes ago 19 km northwest of Crucecita, Mexico, the United States Geological Survey reported.The quake hit at a moderately shallow depth of 35.73 km beneath the epicenter near Crucecita, Santa María Huatulco, Estado de Oaxaca, Mexico, after midnight on Friday, September 5th, 2025, at 12:33 am local time.
